The entrepreneurial spirit behind Square Duty Free
Sunil Gehani, popularly known as Sunny Gehani, is a prominent figure in the business community, known for his entrepreneurial spirit, philanthropy, and success across different industries. Born and raised in Mumbai, he moved to Saint Martin in 1998 in search of work and started a business of vending machines.
Despite the challenges, he persevered and went on to establish a duty-free tobacco & liquor store in 2002. Besides owning over 4 liquor stores at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, he owns liquor brands and engages in liquor production locally.
Apart from the liquor industry, Sunny is also involved in other businesses, including the Big Cane Company and St. Kitts Cigar Company, a cigar manufacturing company that produces hand-rolled cigars using traditional methods. He is also the founder and CEO of Global Link International, an immigration consultancy service company.
Sunny's dedication to entrepreneurship is only matched by his commitment to community service. He has supported various charitable initiatives that include education and healthcare projects in India. His story is a true testament to the power of hard work and determination.
